1. Scope and who we are
InvoiceGST is a desktop billing product provided by Technodweep (“Technodweep”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This policy applies to the InvoiceGST website, its checkout and license-support services, and the InvoiceGST desktop application.
It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party services that you choose to use, including Razorpay and Google.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your email address when you start a purchase or request a license-key resend.
- Your email address, payment reference and any information you include when contacting support.
Purchase and license information
When you buy a license, we receive and store information needed to confirm and fulfil the order, such as your email address, order and payment identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, license plan, license key, and fulfilment timestamps. Razorpay processes your payment credentials; we do not receive or store your complete card, UPI PIN or banking credentials.
Website and technical information
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device details, referring pages, and interactions. Our hosting and security systems may also record IP addresses, request details, timestamps and error logs.
The purchase-confirmation page temporarily keeps your purchase email and issued license key in your browser’s session storage for up to 24 hours so that you can view or copy them. This information is stored in that browser session and is not an advertising cookie.
3. Data in the desktop application
InvoiceGST is designed for local use. Your invoices, customer and supplier records, inventory, accounts and other day-to-day business data remain on your computer and are not uploaded to us as part of normal app operation.
You control the files and backups created by the application. If you voluntarily send a database, screenshot or document to support, we use it only to investigate your request and handle it as support information.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and verify orders, issue licenses, deliver license emails and recover existing license keys.
- Provide support, respond to questions and diagnose service problems.
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services.
- Prevent fraud, misuse and repeated automated requests.
- Keep business and tax records and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. How we share information
We share information only where needed to operate the service, complete your transaction, meet legal obligations, or protect our rights. Service providers may include:
- Razorpay, which provides payment checkout and payment processing.
- Google Analytics, which helps us understand website usage.
- Cloud, hosting and email providers, which operate the website, license service, transaction records and license-email delivery.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate fraud or security issues, or as part of a business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply.
6. How long we retain information
We keep purchase and license records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and recover a lifetime license, maintain transaction and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Support messages, technical logs and analytics information are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for their purpose, subject to provider settings and legal requirements.
When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. Payments are completed through Razorpay’s checkout, and license issuance is verified on our server. No online service or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for securing your computer, account access, local InvoiceGST data, backups and license key.
8. Your choices and rights
You can restrict or delete cookies through your browser and use available browser or Google controls to limit analytics. Blocking some technologies may affect site functionality.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some records may need to be retained for license recovery, security, tax, accounting or legal reasons. Email info@technodweep.com to make a request; we may need to verify your identity first.
9. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside your state or country. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards and rely on lawful transfer mechanisms appropriate to the service.
10. Children’s privacy
InvoiceGST is a business product and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
